Current Families

MyProCare
- Go to www.myprocare.com in order to register for ESS including intersessions. MyProCare is also used to update your emergency contact info and for payments. Please make sure emergency contact info is always complete and accurate.
Communication
- Our main form of communication with families will be our Sign In & Sign Out table. Please make sure to read everything on the table every single day. This same information will be sent to you via email. 
Morning Check In & Afternoon Sign Out
- If you are signed up for the morning program you will drop off your student at the MPR side entrance and check them in.
- When picking up from the afternoon program you will also go to the MPR side entrance and please have a photo ID ready.
- After school your child will be responsible for checking in with ESS ASAP.
       - TK and Kindergarten will be picked up directly from their classroom by ESS staff.
       - 1st and 2nd grade students will need to walk to the ESS building to sign in with Molly or Marcel.
       - 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will walk to the MPR after school and sign in with Itzy. 
Breakfast & Snack
- If your child is in the morning program they will have the opportunity to eat breakfast provided by PUSD.
- ESS provides an afternoon snack every day. Example snacks would be poptarts, chips, goldfish etc.
HW and Educational Time
- Each Day ESS students will have an opportunity to complete their homework and ask for help from their ESS teachers. ESS will also be utilizing credentialed teachers at Valley in order to help students who might need it.
- HW time for TK and K will look different than the other grades. These students often do not have HW so they will be doing educational activities, writing practice, story time etc.
Recess and Free Play
- ESS students will have ample time to play, imagine and  create both indoors and outdoors.
Projects
- ESS staff will have projects planned for most days of the week. Projects include a variety STEM activities and group games.
